How to Remove an Entry from Statement
Article Id: #5 Viewed: 499 times Last updated on: 30 Dec 2021 Article Category: ACE StatementIf you have received a Prelimanary statement and you wish to remove one or more entries from said statement you can do the following.
From the Main Menu select the following options.
- Customs Brokerage
- Automated Broker Interface.
- ABI Statement Menu.
- Statement Update Xmit
Enter the File# you wish to remove.
If the entry is on it's 10th day you will have to change the Statement Type to 1 and enter today's date as the Statement Date. (There is no way to add an entry on a statement once the statements for the day have been issued).
If you are under the 10th day limit you may leave the statement type as is and simply change the Statement Date for tomorrow or any other date in the future as long it is with in the 10 date limit.
Enter T to Transmit.
Wait for a response from CBP. If the statement update is accepted system will create an Interim Statement. You may then print the Interim statement any time you like.
